How it Works

Unicorn has two modes you can use to find the perfect match: Live Video Chats and Speed Dating. To use these features, download the app, create a profile, and select your preferences. Your

profile can be text or video format, or a combination of both.

Live Video Chats

When you match with someone, a calendar will show up where you can mark a time for a video chat. No texting or who messages who first games. See the person smile, hear them laugh at your jokes, and decide for yourself if there is a connection worth pursuing. After the first chat, you can start messaging your date, exchange contacts, and set up the second meeting.

Speed Dating

Log in at a determined time to chat with people in your local area and based on your search filter. Each date is 30 seconds unless both users feel a connection and they can tap to prolong the time. After each video chat, you’ll be asked if you want to chat with that person again. If you both do, you can pick a time to chat in the first mode or message each other to find a time to chat in real life.
